When I go to my Nintendo WFC Settings on my DS and search for my wireless, it comes up saying the my wireless security settings are not compatible with the DS, and yet it works for my Wii. Is there anything I can do to receive my Wifi working again?

Open Question: Connecting my DS/Wii to Ad-hoc for Wi-Fi?

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew how I can use my laptop's ad hoc as Wi-Fi for my DS/Wii. The connection shows up on the DS and Wii but it won't work on either of them. Please, do not tell me to receive a router or a Nintendo USB Connector (Nintendo doesn't even sell these anymore in case you didn't know) because I am 100% broke and my parents are not going to supply me with money just to buy some device that will enchance my gaming experience. I have read about people that have managed to tug this ad-hoc Wi-Fi trick off. I really need to know how to set everything up and if there is any special programs that are needed or would facilitate the process. Thank you very much in advance!

Open Question: Crestron Remote Monitor and Wireless Router Assistance?

Hello, i have 5 TV's on one wall. Recently we bought a Wireless Router so that we could have a Crestron Monitor act as a remote for the 5 TV's. Everything was working fine until today when i was screwing around with the Nintendo Wii Internet Connection settings and when i gave up on that, I went back to regular TV and the remote lost its connection. I clicked on Set Up and found the Wireless Router Signal and it says its every connected and everything, but the Crestron Remote Monitor is still useless! it doesnt work at every! please help! everytime i press a button to control one of the TV's, it says "mistake Connecting to Wireless Network" or something like that.. any advice is appreciated! thank you!!

Open Question: My Dumb Cousin Is Really Annoying me!?

My cousin is 14 and he is just SO dumb, at half term he had to take booster classes and he said only 30 showed up! He was to stupid to think that they only asked 30 to arrive because they are dumb! He thinks 6b is a good mark for Year 9! He goes on his Nintendo Wii every the time, the wii is his life. He slept over and said "I'm going to toss up" and he just stood in the living room for like 2 minutes just waiting! So of course he missed the toilet a bit and then barely helped to clean it up because I was doing it! He Is so dumb! He walks out the home without closing the door, he doesn't thank you after he sleeps over just stumbles out the car! The worst thing is that he thinks he is smart! He is greedy, and when I say I prefer the xbox to the wii he will say "thats because you like expensive stuff"! Its really getting to me and I know he doesn't mean it but he is just so DUMB! I'm scared I might hit him in anger soon! What do I do! Also we used to play Badminton and squash together. That is the only sport he does and he stopped doing squash because "It affects his badminton" that is rubbish he is just to lazy to do it. He will forget something in about 30 seconds! He is so damn annoying!

When I got home today my power had gone out. Of course the usual resetting of the alarm clock but my Wii won't clip on. The red light doesn't even arrive on. I've even unplugged everything and plugged them back in. Any help or ideas? I have tried different outlets as well.

Open Question: Nintendo Wii Black Screen Video Outut?

I have a Japanese Modded Wii which was semi-bricked (couldn't access Wii settings) although everything used to work fine. Now, when I switch the console on, every I receive is a black screen. The Wii is sending out a signal because my TV displays No Signal when the console is switched off. The Wiimotes don't seem to be able to sync with the console either. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

On my crt tv my wii is good but i played on a friends LCD and you move the wiimote and its really laggy it moves like half a second later witch dosent sound much but you really can tell. I want an LCD tv but i dont want it to move half a second later... what can i do? is this due to responce time? is 6ms okay?

Open Question: Wii Repair Check For Hacks?

I downloaded the Wii Homebrew Channel for the whole "Play DVDs on your Wii" and it worked but now Twilight Princess is stuck in the Wii and it won't arrive out. I deleted the Homebrew Channel but the Gameplay History has it was played. So my question is..Will Nintendo check for hacks or my Gameplay History? By the way I don't think so cause since it is a hardware problem I doubt they will. Also if I format my Wii and not my Wii store account will I still have the licenses for the games a downloaded? I have wii, game cube, and N64 my favorite was gamecube because it was built solid like a tank, the controller was very comfortable, and it had awesome graphics. yeah, N64 was also good, the only thing I didnt like was the graphics for the older games for it and controller, but everything else about it was good. After 1998 though games for the N64 started having really good graphics

Resolved Question: Wii console repairs or spare parts?

So the problem is that i have a nintendo wii that i want to sell, but my brother just recently cracked the front of it, it still works perfectly but the gamestop won't take it due to the crack. my question is does anyone know of a cheap repair place that can fix it or a site that sells a faceplate that looks like the original that i can screw on.
